The Boat          

'JUDY B' was purpose built and commissioned in 1999 for charter fishing, the deck was raised to eliminate intrusive engine boxes and gives over 180 sq ft of clear deck space. With twin Cummins turbocharged diesel engines 'JUDY B' is safe, fast and comfortable and is capable of 30 knots (34 mph), although we cruise at a more sedate 17 knots (19 mph)

We are fully insured to carry 12 persons and two crew, and with a 60 mile DTI COP we can reach and fish almost anywhere quickly.

The Skipper     

Dave Carey has operated a charter boat in Cardigan Bay and St Georges' since 1976, and out of Pwllheli Marina since it was built, in this time Dave has built up an impressive portfolio of fishing marks covering general to species specific.
 

The Fishing

Fishing is normally good between the end of April and October with the bay producing a diverse array of fish, of course Bass, Bream and Tope are the favourites for inshore trips and the reefs, whilst Bardsey Island gives Reasonable size Pollock, Codling Coley, Ling, Wrasse.

If you haven't got the gear don't let it put you off the experience of sea fishing. We have rods and reels for hire and all the tackle you need for sale on board. (most at less than 'tackle shops')
